We breed Bully Johnson type American Bulldogs all having an impressive profile displaying a history of fantastic pedigree's champion & show dog. We are fans of all American Bulldog types but we prefer Bully.
Our American Bulldogs dogs have great temperaments, confirmation, beautiful color and muscle structure. IT’S ABOUT QUALITY NOT QUANTITY.
An American Bulldog is typically a happy, friendly, and assertive dog that is at ease with its family and fine with outsiders who pose no threat. They bond strongly with their master and family. This breed tolerates children and can do well with them, provided they are socialized or obedience trained early to expose them to other dogs and people in order to ensure that they can be controlled around company as they mature. This can be done in the simplest of ways by walking them regularly in a local park where they can meet other people and dogs. If properly socialized, this breed can become a great family pet and guard dog but has a very strong prey drive.
They are working dogs with high energy drives, and so American Bulldogs do best in a home with a large backyard and plenty of exercise. They can sometimes be wary towards cats and smaller pets, but the correct socialization at an early age can greatly increase the chances of them accepting these animals.
The American Bulldogs Temperment
Standard Type: Ideal standard males should measure between 23 to 27 inches at the withers and weigh from 75 to 115 pounds. Females; 21 to 25 inches, 60 to 85 pounds.
Bully Type: Ideal bully males should measure between 23 to 27 inches at the withers and weigh 80 to 125 pounds. Females; 22-26 inches 60 to 105 pounds.
Note: The overall proportion of the dog is of utmost importance when evaluating weight.
American Bulldogs can live from 7-14 years, and tend to be strong, physically active, and healthy.
